Roundtable Insurance, LLC is seeking motivated and experienced B2B Sales Agents, licensed in Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance to join our Smyrna, GA team.

The ideal person will have a proven record of accomplishment in achieving sales objectives and will have knowledge of Commercial Insurance in a Business to Business sales work capacity.

The sales professional will have the ability to convey product value over the phone, through text and face to face with an entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal fit will be one who has exceptional skills in building business relationships, closing deals and enhancing current sales strategies to substantially drive the company’s revenue and growth.

Overall Responsibilities

As a Commercial Insurance Agent, you will pursue new commercial clients for property and casualty insurance coverage. You will build and continually grow a diverse book of business clients that purchase their insurance through Roundtable Insurance. You’ll provide exceptional customer support to your book of business. Internally, you’ll work as a team player, developing and maintaining positive, productive relationships with other agents, leadership, co-workers, agency partners and insurance company staff.

Major Responsibilities

  • Selling Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance Policies
  • Prospecting, networking and utilizing various methods to generate leads
  • Preparing comprehensive and accurate quote submissions
  • Maintaining relationships with insurance companies/MGAs to negotiate and obtain quotes, binders, endorsement, etc.

Essential Duties

  • Conducts proactive prospecting to generate leads for new commercial applicants
  • Schedules appointments with prospective clients to understand their business and its specific insurance needs
  • Obtains accurate quote and application information from prospects
  • Prepares, completes, and submits applications to carriers; develop summaries and proposals; and responsible for follow-up with carriers and clients
  • Generates new sales by positioning Roundtable as the solution to client’s insurance and risk management needs
  • Implement new client insurance policies
  • Works with Accounting to produce premium financing options for clients when needed
  • Assists clients with coverage changes and endorsements; uses each contact as an opportunity to review needs
  • Uses specific industry training and knowledge to determine the needs of the client and identify cross-selling opportunities; expands/rounds-out existing accounts by identifying potential gaps in coverage, recommending, and implementing proper coverage.
  • Actively seeks referrals from current clients
  • Maintains current, accurate data in the Agency Management System, being sure to document all prospect and customer activity, submission and contact information
  • Keeps informed on industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.

Qualifications

  • Education/Certification – State of Georgia P&C Insurance License. College degree preferred, high school diploma required
  • Required Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of State Insurance Laws. Thorough knowledge of all P&C coverage definitions.
  • Experience Required: Two or more years of Commercial Lines Insurance sales preferred
  • Skills/Abilities: Strong oral and written communication abilities. Excellent organizational, delegation and decision-making skills. Strong negotiation skills. Exceptional personal character and drive, strong work ethic and positive attitude.
